Mystery continues to shroud the shoulder injury to Penrith captain Isaah Yeo with no clear timeline for his NRL return.
But it appears his teammates aren’t overly concerned.
Speaking to media at Panthers training, star winger Brian To’o was at his entertaining best when asked why the club was being coy about the injury Yeo suffered during the controversial win over the Gold Coast Titans in Round 22.
Once a reporter explained what the word coy actually meant—‘is that French?’—the winger performed more like a sit-com star than a football star.

“Oh, he’s out, one hundred percent out,” To’o declared with deadpan seriousness.
“It’s really, really bad, so bad, I’m going to cry soon.
“Really, I don’t want to talk about it any more.”
Now deep into his 12th season with Penrith, Yeo, 29, will miss his second match when the Panthers face the equally undermanned Storm for the 2024 Grand Final rematch to kick off NRL Round 24.
Contrary to the cheeky comments from To’o, the club remains confident Yeo will return before the finals.
