A mysterious and professionally produced documentary has surfaced on YouTube, and it’s quickly become the most talked-about video in rugby league circles.

Clocking in at just under 30 minutes and styled with the polish of a 60 Minutes special, the film takes a deep dive into the rise and influence of one of the NRL’s most powerful and polarising behind-the-scenes figures.

From quiet boardroom power plays to explosive public controversies, the documentary doesn’t shy away from difficult questions.

It traces the career of controversial player agent Isaac Moses all the way back to his alleged role in the 2010 Melbourne Storm salary cap scandal, tracking their path through more than a decade of influence in the game.

Along the way, it highlights a pattern of controversy and asks why the NRL has seemingly failed to properly punish player agents who push the boundaries.

The exposé puts serious heat on the governing body, challenging whether enough is being done to regulate those operating outside the lines, and whether there’s been a blind eye turned in certain high-profile cases.

The film was uploaded by YouTuber Sugu Amesi, who has built a 24.8k-strong subscriber base through rugby league content including top 10s, news updates, and mini-documentaries. In just over 24 hours, the video has already racked up more than 3,000 views, and the buzz is only growing.

There is growing speculation about whether someone from managerial ranks that has a strong distaste of Moses was behind the production of the video.
