There is no debate that Herbie Farnworth is one of the NRL's most exciting attacking talents.
His defensive skillset, however, is somewhat underappreciated.
The Burnley-born talent has missed just 15 tackles across 15 matches played in 2025.
According to Random Stats Guy, he went four weeks without a single miss before recording two in Round 16 against the Knights.

Farnworth's average of one missed tackle per game places him higher than most of the league's premier centres.
Out of the players who have featured at centre at least eight times this season, only Moses Suli (0.85 missed tackles) has a superior average.
Zac Lomax (1.11), Adam Pompey (1.14), Bronson Xerri (1.15), Robert Toia (1.17), Jack Howarth (1.22) and Stephen Crichton (1.27) all sit behind.

Farnworth, 25, has been on a tear for the Dolphins since joining from the Broncos in 2024.
This season, he has already recorded 10 tries and seven try assists while averaging 168 run metres.
The ninth-placed Dolphins notably boast the best points differential in the league – 140.
They'll need Farnworth to keep performing at his current levels as they look to play finals footy for the first time in the club's short history.
