Gerard Beale’s afternoon came to an early end after being hospitalised with a suspected dislocated kneecap during the Warriors 42-6 loss to the Roosters on Sunday afternoon.
Beale lasted just eight minutes before a collision with Roosters man mountain Jared Waerea-Hargreaves brought the medicab out.
According to NRL.com, the 29-year-old has a possible ruptured patella tendon, ruling him out for the year – and likely the start of season 2020.

The Roosters were at their scintillating best after a valiant first half effort from the Warriors.
In their last seven outings at the SCG, they now average 40 points.
