The Dragons have made a massive move to shore up their future, extending emerging star Nick Tsougranis through to 2027.
The talented youngster made his NRL debut in Round 15 of the 2025 season against the Cronulla Sharks, and was previously a member of the U19 NSW State of Origin side, giving Dragons fans something to look forward to.
Tsougranis was an Arncliffe Scots junior who made his way through the Dragons' development pathways, and is now seen as an impressive building block for the team over the next two seasons.
Dragons retain young talent through to 2027
Nick Tsougranis will remain in the Red V until at least the end of 2027, with the club today announcing the up-and-comer's extension.
The 20-year-old ran for 161 metres in his debut, and is viewed by the Dragons as a crucial part of their next era.
"Nick is an exciting young prospect as well as an outstanding young man and a local junior who came through our St George pathways," Dragons Head Coach Shane Flanagan said.
"He earned his NRL debut recently and we all saw in that game how well he held himself in defence in a position he had only been playing for a short period.
"We’re excited to see how he develops and really pleased to ensure he will remain at the club for at least another two seasons."
Tsougranis is expected to start in the centres once again in Round 18 - covering for Valentine Holmes who is away on State of Origin duties - as the team faces a tall task against the ladder-leading Canberra Raiders.
