Shane Flanagan was inconsolable after his side's controversial defeat to the Bulldogs on Saturday night.
The Dragons were on their way to delivering a shock upset to the home side, before a string of high-leverage calls from match officials put Canterbury one Lachlan Galvin pass away from victory.

In his post-match press conference, Flanagan referenced one particular instance where Luciano Leilua was penalised at first marker for interfering in the play-the-ball of Jacob Kiraz.
"The Luciano Leilua decision was outrageous," he said.
"It was five minutes 30 seconds to go on their 30 or 40 [metre] line. The player never got to his feet, ball-planted on Luciano.
"Luciano doesn’t have to disappear, he can hold his ground. He’s [Kiraz'] got to get to his feet before he plants the ball.
"It has been the rule all year and it cost us today."
That ruling wasn't the last that riled Flanagan up. One set later a tip-on pass from Viliame Kikau was rewarded with a set-restart after the referee decided it was Dragons winger Tyrell Sloan who propelled the ball forward.
"We go down field off the back of that, Kikau passes the ball, hits Sloan and goes forward. So, in the collision, that’s a knock on," said Flanagan.
"The game was taken away from us from what I believe were wrong decisions."
With their finals hopes in the balance, the 11th placed Dragons will need to put a win-streak together over the last seven rounds if they want to finish inside the top-eight.
"There were some decisions tonight that cost us two competition points and it could cost us an opportunity to play semi-finals," said Flanagan.
