The Dragons are bringing back one of the NRL's most impressive forwards next season, with current Dolphin Josh Kerr set to return to his former club.
Kerr made the move from Wollongong to Redcliffe midway through the 2023 season, but after two-and-a-half seasons with the league's newest team he will head south once more, joining the team under head coach Shane Flanagan.
This move will see the Dragons replace forward Jack de Belin, who is moving on from the team to Parramatta next season, and adds talent to a lineup that is also set to add Cronulla's Daniel Atkinson.
Dolphins rep star set for move to Dragons
Josh Kerr will be a Dragon once again, with the 29-year-old returning from a stint with the Dolphins to sign a two-year deal with St. George Illawarra, according to the Daily Telegraph.
An impressive run of form this season saw Kerr named in Billy Slater's extended squad for Game 3 of the 2025 State of Origin series, having previously played seven games for the Indigenous All-Stars between 2019 and 2025.
He now rejoins the team that he began his career with back in 2019, as the Dragons look to move in to a new era, also reportedly one of the frontrunners to sign West Tigers star Adam Doueihi.
