Craig Bellamy has responded to the criticism levelled at the tackled in mid-air rule by Ivan Cleary earlier this week.
The two are set to face off on Thursday night in a rematch of last year's grand final, with tensions heating up between the two premiership heavyweights.

Cleary's concern stemmed from the several incidents of penalty tries being awarded for attacking players being tackled in an aerial contest.
The Panthers coach voiced that he is "not comfortable" with the way the rule is currently enforced, which could become a concern against high-flyer Xavier Coates this weekend.
In his media availability on Wednesday, Bellamy waived off any responsibility for the rule or how it factors into his side's game plan.
"That's the rules, doesn't matter what I think," he said.
"It doesn't matter what anyone thinks.
"It's the guys making up the rules. That’s the rules.
"If he wants to put in an application to get the rules changed, let him do it. But at the end of the day I'm not going to worry about that - they're the rules that's what we got to play to.
"At the end of the day it's the rules, what I think ain't going to change nothing."
Despite the back-and-forth, Bellamy didn't overlook the challenge ahead, as his side looks to knock off a Penrith outfit who have put together nine consecutive wins.
"They’ve been ultra consistent and they know how to win."
