The Dolphins have made it one of their top priorities to keep Herbie Farnworth at the club for the long term as speculation about his future continues to bubble away.
The England international has firmly established himself as one of, if not the, best centre in the game in recent years.
Yet this ascension to the very top has inevitably drawn admiring glances from rival clubs and codes as several teams line up to try and acquire his services.

Can the Dolphins keep Herbie Farnworth in Redcliffe?
"We certainly can," Kristian Woolf declared when asked whether the Phins would be able to keep the star in Redcliffe.
"It’s a priority of ours.
"He’s playing his best footy and the great thing about Herbie is that he’s got plenty of improvement left in him. He’s still on an upward track."
The reigning two-time Dally M Centre of the Year is due to be off-contract at the end of the 2026 season, which has made him a potential prime target for the Perth Bears.
The newest franchise will enter the competition in 2027 and are armed with large swathes of cash to throw around as they put together their inaugural squad.

The barnstorming backline star’s name has come up along with the likes of Payne Haas and Jahrome Hughes as possible marquee signings.
Meanwhile, rugby union has also been highlighted as an option for Farnworth after he grew up playing the code.
Yet Woolf reaffirmed the Dolphins’ commitment to locking down the 25-year-old for the foreseeable future as they attempt to build themselves into premiership contenders.
"I love what Herbie brings," Woolf said.
"I love his personality and his presence around the group. I love him as a player and he’s a guy that we certainly want to be a Dolphin going forward.
