Wests Tigers have confirmed the return of halfback Jock Madden on a two-year deal beginning in the 2026 NRL season.

Madden, previously played 17-games for the Tigers across 2021 and 2022.

He moved to the Broncos in 2023, featuring in 15-games before a pectoral injury sidelined him this season.

The 25-year-old will bring a polished kicking game and playmaking to help elevate the Tigers developing roster.

Off the field, Madden has earned praise for community work, including hospital work and youth support initiatives in Brisbane.

His efforts have seen him nominated for the 2025 Ken Stephens Medal, recognising his impact beyond rugby league.

In a statement released by the club on Friday, Madden expressed his excitement to be re-joining the club after a stint in Queensland.

"It’s a great feeling to return to the Wests Tigers in 2026," he said.

"I am excited to work and play under Benji’s leadership and to be part of a team heading in the right direction."

Head coach Benji Marshall praised Madden's professionalism and playmaking.

"Jock is a smart player with a strong kicking game and a great work ethic," he said.

"He will be a valuable addition to our squad on and off the field.

"We look forward to welcoming him back."

The signing boosts Wests Tigers' depth in the halves as the club continues rebuilding under Marshall's guidance.

Madden will complement their 2026 halves stable which already includes Latu Fainu, Jarome Luai, Heath Mason and Jayden Sullivan.
