'Worst jersey in a decade': Brisbane Broncos fans roast club's new home kit image

The Broncos released their new home jersey on Wednesday, and it's fair to say the design has fallen flat among some fans.

Set to be worn for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, the Asics design is a "modern twist on the 2000 Grand Final jersey".

The jersey is also identically designed for both the NRL and NRLW sides for the first time in the club's history.

However, despite the happy memories from their premiership triumph 25 years ago, Brisbane supporters were less than impressed by the kit.

Their 2000 grand final jersey notably featured a large chunk of gold colouring, while the new design is primarily maroon.

One X user described the shirt as "possibly their worst jersey in a decade".

Fans also likened the jersey to sportswear sold at discount retail outlets Big W and Best&Less.
