Benji Marshall didn't get his dream Wests Tigers farewell after injury ended his night early against Parramatta.
The club legend who has been told he won't be offered a contract for next year succumbed to knee and rib injuries early in the Saturday night fixture at Bankwest Stadium.
Marshall was tackled in 17th minute, going down awkwardly over his left knee, as well as wearing a shot to the head.

He was taken off for a HIA but looked ginger on his knee as he made his way off the field.
The 35-year-old was cleared of a concussion but the knee injury, a suspected MCL sprain, and some potentially broken ribs ended his night and club career on a sour note.
— NRL PHYSIO (@nrlphysio) September 26, 2020Benji Marshall unfortunately won’t return with suspected MCL injury. Likely moderate/high grade (partial/complete tear) considering mechanism & inability to return. Silver lining ACL likely spared.
Worst case: complete MCL tear & 10weeks.
