Wests Tigers utility Adam Doueihi has been linked to a shock move to the Penrith Panthers, as he nears the end of his current contract and speculation mounts over his future beyond the 2025 season.
The 26-year-old is one of the few remaining Tigers players without a contract for next season, with his future left hanging in the balance following a turbulent period that included a heated training ground altercation with head coach Benji Marshall.
The Lebanese international star has found it tough to nail down a regular spot in the Tigers’ lineup this season, constantly shifting between positions and rarely appearing in his preferred position in the halves.
Despite these setbacks, Doueihi reminded fans of his playmaking prowess on Sunday afternoon, slotting the match-winning field goal in the Tigers’ golden-point victory over the Gold Coast Titans.

Speculation around Doueihi’s next move intensified during a segment on Triple M Breakfast with Beau, Tarsh & Woodsy, where talk of him joining the four-time defending premiers was raised.
"I'm hearing Adam Doueihi is in talks with Penrith Panthers in a deal starting as early as next year," The Triple M Whisper said on the radio show.
Pressed about his future during a midweek press conference ahead of Round 20, Doueihi didn’t give much away and instead offered a cryptic reply.
"Ask the big boss, Richo (Shane Richardson, Wests Tigers CEO)," Doueihi stated.
"We'll see what happens.”
