Wests Tigers have managed to fend off reported interest from several NRL rivals and re-sign Adam Doueihi.
The versatile Balmain junior has extended his stay at Concord until at least the end of the 2027 campaign in a major coup for the club.
Doueihi was due to come off-contract at the end of the season after only inking a one-year extension last year. The Lebanon international signed that previous deal as he sought to recover from a third ACL injury in his career.

Tigers fend off NRL rivals to retain Adam Doueihi
Doueihi had previously been linked to the likes of Penrith and St George Illawarra, but has instead opted to remain loyal to the Tigers.
He has forged himself as a key player and leader at the club, with Benji Marshall expressing his delight at keeping Doueihi at the heart of his squad, while also praising his resilience.
"I think everyone can see the leadership qualities Adam brings on the field and we’re lucky to have not only a player, but a person of this calibre within our setup," the coach said.
"His injuries have been well documented, and to see first-hand the way he approached his rehab, his return and the way he’s playing now is so pleasing for everyone at the club."
Doueihi joined the Tigers from South Sydney in 2020 and has since gone on to make over 80 appearances.
The 27-year-old started the season in the centres but has started to take up other positions for Marshall's team in recent weeks, including a two-game stint at lock and a game apiece as a five-eighth and halfback showcasing his value to the squad.
"I couldn’t be happier to be here for another two seasons," Doueihi declared.
"I made my way through the pathways here at Balmain, and it’s where my love for the game first started. To have been here for six seasons and to now continue on, is a proud moment for me and my family.
"I’m excited about what’s building here; it’s a great group who are pulling in the same direction. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve over the next two years."
