Social media users have had a laugh at the expense of Channel Nine after one of their Twitter accounts posted that Leicester City had won the Premier League 'grand final'.

Hilariously, Channel 9 quickly deleted tweet and re-posted a new version but again got it wrong by saying Chelsea had beaten Tottenham when the match was a 2-2 draw.
Social media users, including comedian Ed Kavalee, reacted humourously and with bewilderment to the mistake.
So true! Best Premier League grand final ever.

Not one person who could be disappointed with Leicester's triumph, even if the media thinks EPL has a grand final.. pic.twitter.com/a4qXJV7n8v
