Would only need run up to that last effort to be a contender. Soundcheck impressed with a turn of foot to win a recent trial and looks a contender on debut from a middle barrier. Beau Rivage strips fitter for having had the two runs back this prep. Formlines through both runs have been franked big time. Tycoon Queen also had no luck first-up and is a likely improver. Race Comment: Strong tempo from Penny For A Pound, Svetski, Evil Dreams and See Me Rollin' amongst those driving hard early. Expecting House Of Wax to be hard to beat given even luck from ideal draw and he can be backed at opening each-way odds. Tycoon Queen also big overs. | |

Zumbelina is also a prospect and was good winning first-up. Runners from the stable always improve with racing and she's drawn to get a sweet run. Hardest to beat. Vasiliev has been fair at the trials but his debut run behind Acatour reads well for this. They thought enough of his to run in the JJ Atkins. Big odds but respecting. | |

Tip Comment: The double-figure odds Another Bullseye are attractive. She didn't have a lot of luck last start when not beaten far in a strong form race. We like that she's been kept fresh staying at the 1400m, if she holds her spot midfield she'll be hard to hold out. Prompt Response is the obvious. she was huge last start out three deep and draws for a much softer run here. She's the one to catch. Petition goes in everything from the good gate and Angharad can charge home with some luck getting cover. | |
Race Comment: Astro Diva and Sword Of Light are likely to head forward from wider gates with Prompt Response and Ghenwaa kicking up hard from the inside. The big field of fillies all chasing black type will ensure enough early moves for a good solid speed. | |
