The New England Patriots came back in Super Bowl XLIX to defeat the Seattle Seahawks 28-24.

Tom Brady and Bill Belichick continued their legacy as the duo won their fourth Super Bowl in their sixth appearance.

Despite all of the controversy surrounding Deflate-gate, the Patriots played hard and won behind Super Bowl MVP Brady's four touchdowns.

Brady set a Super Bowl record for the most pass completions (37) in a gameand he threw four touchdown passes to four different receivers.

His 328 passing yards were especially amazing considering the Patriots only finished with 57 rushing yards.

The first half took a while to get going, but there was a lot of action late.

The first quarter went by in a flash as neither team scored a point.

The Patriots drew first blood with an 11-yard touchdown to Brandon LaFell.

The Seahawks later responded with a three-yard touchdown run by Marshawn Lynch.

Following Lynch’s score the Patriots went on an 80-yard drive that ended with a Rob Gronkowski touchdown.

The score left just 36 seconds left on the clock, but that was enough time for the Seahawks to set up a scoring drive of their own.

Chris Matthews, an unlikely hero, scored on an 11-yard strike with just six seconds left in the first half.

The Seattle Seahawks came out strong in the second half.

After being tied 14-14 at half-time the Seahawks scored 10 unanswered points.

Their defense was able to hold Brady and company in check for a while, but the Patriots eventually made things interesting again with a four-yard touchdown pass to Danny Amendola.

The Patriots then forced a three-and-out and scored on their next drive, a three-yard pass to Julian Edelman.

The touchdown was Brady’s fourth of the game.

The Seahawks were close to scoring a late game-winning touchdown, but Malcolm Butler’s interception sealed the Patriots’ victory.
