The 23-year-old launched an attack on Rasheed, branding him 'uneducated' after the former coach criticised the ability of Tomic's first-round opponent Brian Baker.
"That just shows you how much he knows," Tomic said after his second-round defeat to Croatia's Borna Coric.
"You don’t say that about someone — the guy (Baker) has been to a third or fourth round here, fourth round at Wimbledon, finals of Nice.
"You can’t say that about that sort of player. He’s beaten Gael (Monfils) on clay and a lot of good players.
"For him (Rasheed) to say that comment, just shows you how much education he has."
Tomic bowed out of Roland Garros with a gutsy 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (6), loss to rising star Coric.
The Australian fell ill during the match - suffering dizzyness - before battling out the high-quality match.
