Vladimir Putin suits up with former NHL players, scores eight goals image

Vladimir Putin only recently started playing hockey, but he's already got some smooth moves on ice.

The Russian president teamed up with a number of former NHL players in Sochi on Saturday for a friendly hockey game. Not only did his team wind up winning with ease, 18-6, Putin single-handedly outscored the opposition by slapping in eight goals.

It helps that Pavel Bure and Valeri Kamensky were his teammates, sure, but cut the 62-year-old some slack.
