Detroit sent its love and support to Gordie Howe on Friday night.
The Red Wings honored the franchise and hockey legend during a stoppage in play at Joe Louis Arena, and the crowd joined in with a standing ovation. Fans waved signs with "Get Well Gordie" written on them in support.
