This is the XFL … Take 3.
The XFL is (almost) back again, this time spearheaded by entertainment mogul Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Dany Garcia, set for kickoff following the turn of the new year. The rebirth of the league features a number of familiar teams, and a few new ones as well.
The league, which is scheduled for kickoff in 2023, was on its deathbed (again) after the COVID-19 pandemic forced it to cease operations after half a season. Now, the league will be back in the echo of the whistle of the 2022 NFL season in February.
