Cleveland Browns center Cameron Erving has been diagnosed with a pulmonary contusion — bruised lung — and will remain in the hospital overnight for observation, Sporting News has learned.

Erving was taken away in an amublance Sunday during the Browns game against the Ravens at FirstEnergy Stadium.

The team reported that Erving was experiencing back cramps, as well as "discomfort in his chest and ribs."
