With the 2018 Super Netball season in the books, players from the world's largest netball nations are heading downunder to contest for the Quad Series title.

The Netball Quad Series is a bi-annual event between the Australian Diamonds, New Zealand Silver Ferns, England Roses and South Africa Proteas.

Since the inaugural series in 2016, Australia have been crowned the victors twice (August 2016 and January 2017), while the Silver Ferns will head into this years' series as reigning premiers.

Each January, the matches are hosted by England and South Africa, followed by the September edition in Australia and New Zealand.

Following the Quad Series, the annual Constellation Cup is then contested between the Diamonds and Silver Ferns.

The crown is awarded to the team who wins the most test matches between the trans-Tasman rivals each year, excluding multinational tournaments.

Since the inaugural series in 2010, Australia has won 23 out of 32 matches. The Diamonds currently hold the trophy, taking out the series 4-0 in 2017.
