The clock has run out on LSU's season, just like it did in the Tigers' come-from-behind attempt against Auburn.

The Tigers, down for most of the game on the road against Auburn, had just enough time to mount one final drive in the closing minutes of the game, down 18-13.

LSU's Danny Etling drove the Tigers into Auburn territory and hit receiver D.J. Chark with just one second left on the clock to pull ahead, 19-18.

Except, the play didn't count. Officials reviewed the play and found Etling had snapped the ball just after the game clock hit zero.

Auburn escaped Jordan-Hare Stadium with an 18-13 home win, while their LSU counterparts head home, dejected.
