The Toronto Raptors unearthed a gem in Jonathan Mogbo.

Taken with the 31st pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Mogbo looks like a surefire steal.

His biggest performance of the season came on Wednesday night in a 30-point win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Mogbo put up a triple-double: 17 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists (to go with three steals).

This marks the first triple-double by a Raptors rookie since Nov. 21, 1995, when Damon Stoudamire did it.

It's also the first triple-double in this entire NBA season by a rookie, according to TSN's Josh Lewenberg.

The 23-year old who split his college career between Missouri State and San Francisco has now done something none of this year's first-rounders have done by notching that triple-double.

Mogbo, at 6-foot-9, has proven himself a great fit for the Raptors' length-heavy scheme. Clearly, he has some skill as well.

This brilliant night isn't a guarantee of anything in Mogbo's future, but it's a great sign that the Raptors may have found themselves a strong contributor for years to come.
