The WNBL is entering a new era, revealing a fresh logo as the league rebrands under new ownership.

Using the slogan 'Ready to Rise' as a guiding principle, the Australian league has announced a new identity, as they look to level up under fresh ownership.

As Australia's longest-running women's professional sports league, the WNBL will look to further cement their place in Aussie sports, and usher in the next generation of basketball talent.

The WNBL has officially launched a rebrand, just a month after the league's new ownership took over.

Announced Friday, the league is rallying behind the phrase 'Ready to Rise', alongside a brand-new purple and teal logo.

"The WNBL as we know it has been forged from a rich history and today, we enter a brand-new chapter of the league, one that is shaping the future of the game for our players, fans and clubs," new WNBL CEO Jenny Sager said.

"This is one of many bold changes we have made since taking ownership in April, including a historic Collective Bargaining agreement which achieves a ground-breaking pro-rata pay parity deal.

"Similarly, for the rebrand, we sought feedback from players past and present, and stakeholders across the clubs and the league.

"The new logo represents our vision for the future of women’s basketball in Australia, one that is strong, dynamic, professional, and inspiring."

The 2025/26 WNBL season is expected to tip-off this April, the first campaign under the league's new identity.
