The NBA off-season is well underway, with some of the league's biggest names searching for their next deal.
One domino which is yet to fall in free agency is Ben Simmons, the three-time All-Star who is off-contract after a 2024-25 season split between Brooklyn and Los Angeles.
But according to insider Marc Stein, multiple teams have interest in the former All-NBA player, including one Eastern Conference heavyweight.
Where will Ben Simmons sign?
After ending last season as part of the Los Angeles Clippers squad who lost in seven games to the Denver Nuggets, Ben Simmons is officially a free agent.
While his production has dipped from his All-Star years in Philadelphia, Simmons has shown he can still be an impactful defender and offensive hub, leading to four NBA teams in particular chasing the Australian's signature.
"League sources say that the Suns have also had some recent dialogue with former All-Star Ben Simmons, who I’m told has drawn interest since free agency began from Boston, New York, and Sacramento," wrote NBA insider Marc Stein.
While Boston will likely not be incredibly competitive during the upcoming season, the other three options see themselves as genuine playoff contenders, with the Knicks in particular expected to be one of the most likely teams to win the Eastern Conference.
With Simmons already having spent time in New York during his time with the Nets, the city combined with a chance to compete would be a perfect situation for the 29-year-old, who could bolster an already impressive defensive wing rotation alongside OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges.
Sacramento could also be appealing if Simmons wishes to remain in California, with the Kings fielding a competitive side featuring former All-Star trio Domantas Sabonis, Zach LaVine, and DeMar DeRozan.
