The Portland Trail Blazers have guaranteed the salary of Duop Reath ahead of the 2024-25 season, seeing the Australian stay in Oregon for the next 12 months.

Heading into Reath's third season in the NBA, the 29-year-old will be part of an exciting young core that made significant moves during the off-season.

After a quieter sophomore year for Portland, the big man will look to make an impact for Chauncey Billup's squad as they look primed to contend for a playoff spot.

Duop Reath's future is reportedly confirmed, with the Portland Trail Blazers locking in the Australian's deal for the season.

According to Hoops Hype's Michael Scotto, Portland has fully guaranteed Reath's US$2.22 million salary, making him officially part of the team's future.

"I had a great season, I was happy with everything," Reath told Sporting News Australia in June.

"Obviously, I didn't play that much, but I was still happy with just being there and still getting better. Helping the guys, helping the team in whatever way that I can participate in.

"[Chauncey Billups] makes everything very relatable. He's a guy that's been there, done it. It's just he cares about the guys. He has a real good relationship with all the players. I think that plays a big part."

Reath appeared in 46 games for Portland last season, averaging 4.2 points, 2 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game.
