Australia begins its quest towards qualifying for the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 at the Qualifiers on Thursday.

The Boomers' 12-man roster for the opening window of qualifying features a blend of youth and familiar faces.

Seventeen-year-old Rocco Zikarsky, a 7-foot-3 phenom, is set to make his Boomers debut. Zikarsky will be surrounded by several past Asia Cup champions, like Mitch McCarron and Nick Kay.

Australia will look to continue its tremendous success at the event; the Boomers have won both FIBA Asia Cups that they have participated in, back in 2017 and 2022.

Australia will open up the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers against Korea on Thursday, February 22. The game is scheduled to start around 6:30 p.m. AEST and will be played at Red Energy Arena in Bendigo, Australia.

The broadcast will air nationally on ESPN and Kayo Sports. Fans hoping to catch the Boomers can also stream the action on Courtside 1891, the home of FIBA live streaming, which is available through DAZN
