It was an up-and-down season for Josh Giddey in the NBA, after the Australian was traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Chicago Bulls.
He struggled early, but found his feet in a massive way after the All-Star break, with an incredible run of play punctuated by one of the craziest buzzer-beaters the league has ever seen.
But with the off-season now in full swing, Giddey has found other ways to keep busy, with the young star filling in for a local Australian basketball team this week.
NBA star fills in for local basketball team
Josh Giddey is making sure to get his off-season work in, pictured filling in for a local team in an Australian rec-league Monday night.
He pulled up to a game in the Vales Monday Champ Men at the Frankston Blues stadium and put on a show for the surprised locals, including one highlight reel block.
This comes ahead of a crucial restricted free agency period for Giddey, who is in line to receive a five-year contract worth over AU$250 million.
