Thon Maker's rookie season has been spent watching from the bench for the most part, but today he got his opportunity and he didn't waste a second of it.

Against the San Antonio Spurs, Maker surprisingly entered the game in the second quarter, making an instant impact as he knocked down a corner three.

A minute later, he beat everyone down the floor in transition to finish the fastbreak with a nice dunk.

In a career-high 13 minutes, Maker had five points and one assist as the Bucks grabbed the 109-107 win.

Michael Beasley led the Bucks with a season-high 28 points on 11-for-18 shooting. He filled in for an ill Giannis Antetokounmpo, who only managed nine minutes.

Again it was rookie Malcolm Brogdon who came up down the stretch, hitting a free throw to give the Bucks a 109-107 lead.

Manu Ginobii missed a shot on the next play as the Bucks escaped with the tight win.
