Supercars 2024 calendar: Full race schedule, dates for upcoming championship

Supercars have released the full calendar for the 2024 season, with two new events confirmed.

An extra race will be held at Bathurst to open the campaign, while the series will make its return to New Zealand.

The Sporting News has the schedule for this year's championship below.

Supercars calendar: 12 rounds confirmed for 2024 season

The 2024 Supercars season will begin at the Mount Panorama Circuit with the Bathurst 500.

The race will be part of a two-week celebration at the famous track, joining the Bathurst 12 Hour event.

The Bathurst 1000 retains its traditional October slot on the calendar.

Popular events in Sandown and the Gold Coast will remain for 2024, while Adelaide will host the season finale again.

Taupō will notably host its first-ever Supercars race in April as the series returns to New Zealand.

A new format will also debut in 2024 — Super400.

It will comprise two separate 200km races held on either day, with mandatory refuelling implemented.

Sydney and Taupō will hold their events under this format next year.

Two races from 2023 have been removed from the 2024 calendar — the Newcastle 500 and SuperSprint at The Bend.
