Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland rushed the cage and threw punches at a fighter in wild scenes at an amateur MMA event in Las Vegas.

Strickland, and fellow UFC middleweight Chris Curtis, were cornering Miles Hunsinger at Tuff-N-UFF 145.

Hunsinger was submitted with a guillotine choke in the second round, seeing his opponent Luis Hernandez celebrate by taunting Strickland and Curtis in the corner.

The pair immediately rushed into the cage, with Curtis backing Hernandez up against the fence before Strickland came over the top with two punches before officials were able to intervene.

Hernandez didn't appear hurt following the confrontation and continued celebrating and addressing those in attendance at the Sahara in Las Vegas.
