The Warriors worst fears have been being realised with news today that star fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is out for the season with a ruptured ACL.

The star fullback left Westpac Stadium in the 18th minute of Saturday’s surprise 24-20 victory over the Bulldogs and didn't return.

It was hoped the injury was a medial ligament problem, salvaging at least part of the season for the new recruit.

Tuimoala Lolohea moved to the back to cover for Tuivasa-Sheck, scoring the Warriors’ final try.
