The Titans are set to overlook a $7 million bid from the North Sydney Bears to take charge of the club in hope that a mutli-million dollar plan from businessman Darren Kelly will keep their licence on the Gold Coast.

Kelly saved the Titans years ago by personally investing $5 million and is ramping up new plans to bust them out of trouble again.

Kelly has cashed-up local investors ready to buy the Titans licence and has drawn up a detailed business plan for NRL CEO Todd Greenberg.

Reports from The Courier Mail suggest a $10 million price tag will be placed on the Titans licence when the NRL puts them up for sale.
