Cronulla Sharks win NRL premiership but fans won't forget drug cheating image

Cronulla have won their first premiership since being established in 1967, but sour fans have flooded social media to remind the world about the the Sharks' drug scandal.

The Shire side held on to win the grand final 14-12 after an incredible final few minutes which saw the Melbourne Storm have several chances to score.

While there was plenty of love for Cronulla's drought-breaking win, many supporters took to Twitter to claim the 'drug' cheats had triumphed at the end of the day.

There was also several snide references to the Storm's salary cap scandal that engulfed the club in 2010.
