Cronulla prop Andrew Fifita has been fined $20,000 for his on-field support of convicted killer Kieran Loveridge.

Fifita played several matches last season with 'FKL' written on his wrist strapping.
"Our competition can not be used as a platform to promote inappropriate causes such as this," an NRL spokesman said.
The Sharks big man has been told that any further breach of NRL rules could see him deregistered from the game.
