Formula 1 has officially confirmed its 2026 calendar.
The 2026 Formula 1 season marks a significant shift towards sustainability and a refreshed calendar, introducing new technical regulations along with changes to the race venue lineup.

F1 schedule 2026
The 2026 F1 season will once again feature 24 races, but with several notable changes to the calendar.
The Australian Grand Prix is confirmed to host the season opener for the second consecutive year, and for the 23rd time in its history. It will be followed by the Chinese Grand Prix, which kicks off a run of four consecutive races in Asia.
The Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix are both scheduled for April, as the holy month of Ramadan will end in March.
In a significant change, the Canadian Grand Prix has been moved forward by a month from its traditional June slot to May 24th. After that, the championship heads to Europe in June, starting with the Monaco Grand Prix on June 5th.
Spain will host two Grands Prix in 2026. Madrid will debut as a new venue, featuring a 5.4 km street circuit named "Madring", with its race scheduled for September 11th–13th.
Meanwhile, the iconic Imola circuit for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix has been dropped from the 2026 calendar.
The season will once again conclude in the Middle East, with Abu Dhabi hosting the final round, as usual.
F1 2026 sprint race schedule
The 2026 Formula 1 season will continue to feature Sprint races.
The exact number and locations of Sprint races for 2026 have not been officially confirmed, but it is expected that the format will remain similar to recent seasons, with Sprint races held at select Grands Prix.
