Tottenham are moving quickly to try and land Manchester City winger Savinho, with his representatives reportedly on their way to Europe for what could be decisive talks.
The 21-year-old is valued at around £67 million, and Spurs seem ready to push again after having an earlier bid turned down.
According to reports (via Daily Mail), Frederico Moraes from ProManager left Brazil on Thursday to meet with Spurs officials next week.
City only signed Savinho a year ago for about £35 million but appear open to selling if the price is right. The winger is said to want more regular Premier League minutes, especially with the 2026 World Cup on the horizon.
City have used him sparingly, with three goals and 13 assists in 48 games. His standout form came during a loan spell at Girona, where he hit 11 goals and 10 assists in 2023-24.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank is understood to see him as a key target — and not just a backup option.

Why Tottenham want Savinho?

Savinho brings speed, direct dribbling, and a knack for creating chances from wide areas. Last season, he ranked among Europe’s top wingers for successful take-ons and progressive carries.
Frank reportedly wants him in a four-at-the-back setup, using him down the left to stretch defenses. His ability to cross with both feet could suit forwards like Richarlison and Dominic Solanke.
Off the ball, he works hard — something Frank demands. With injuries to James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski, Spurs are short on creativity, and Savinho could help fill that gap.
The fact he’s on relatively low wages at City might also make this deal attractive to Tottenham’s hierarchy.
Still, meeting City’s asking price is the main hurdle. Spurs fans will be hoping this isn’t another case of “close, but no cigar” in the transfer market.
If they get it done, Savinho could be the latest to swap the Etihad for a starring role elsewhere — and maybe give Spurs some much-needed samba flair.
