The Premier League sits atop the English football league system that features the top 20 clubs battling for the prestigious title. The 34th edition of the EPL is set to deliver plenty of highs and lows over the next few months.
Seventeen teams from the last season have retained their spots, whereas Leeds United, Burnley, and Sunderland earned their promotion from the Championship. While Leeds and Burnley secured their direct promotions, Sunderland edged out Sheffield United in the Championship Final to earn its spot. These three newly promoted clubs replaced Leicester City, Ipswich Town, and Southampton.
