Biggest wins in UEFA Champions League final history: PSG set record margin of victory with dominance of Inter Milan image

After a long journey of desperation to climb the European mountain, Paris Saint-Germain secured their first-ever UEFA Champions League title in dominant fashion as they clobbered Inter Milan by a 5-0 scoreline in Munich to conclude the 2024/25 tournament.

A brace from Desire Doue was aided by goals from Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Senny Mayulu in an utterly dominant performance by the Parisians.

The victory was a culmination of a years-long switch in philosophy from a star-studded strategy to a build-from-within approach, and it came in record fashion, setting a new mark in European final dominance.

The Sporting News brings you a closer look at just how authoritative this performance was, and where it ranks in all-time wins at this stage.

Most goals scored by a team in Champions League final history

PSG fell just a bit short of setting the record for most goals in a Champions League final, but their five puts them among a short list of clubs to have reached even that number.

In fact, they're only the third club to have ever done it, behind just Real Madrid's 7-3 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the early days of the competition and Benfica's 5-3 win over Madrid a few years later.
