Tottenham will kickstart their Premier League 2025/26 campaign at home against promoted Burnley on August 16.
Spurs are returning after their worst Premier League campaign last season and now they have a new manager in Thomas Frank, who will look to take the Lilywhites back to where they belong.
Even though they finished 17th in the points table, Spurs managed to secure Champions League football courtesy of winning the Europa League, and that puts extra pressure on Frank's shoulders.
However, the North London outfit are keen to start their new season with a victory under their belt after an underwhelming preseason and a xxxxx against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday.

Tottenham have made some smart deals this summer as they have signed Mohammed Kudus, Mathys Tel, Kota Takai and Luka Vuskovic, while Joao Palhinha has joined from Bayern Munich on loan.
However, in the build-up to this game, there have been a lot of uncertainty around James Maddison's replacement after the England international suffered an ACL injury in preseason.
On the other hand, Burnley are leaving no stones unturned this summer as they desperately want to remain in the Premier League by bolstering their squad.
Armando Broja and Lesley Ogochukwu have joined from Chelsea, along with Kyle Walker, Axel Tuanzebe and Martin Dubravka, who will provide the much-needed Premier League experience to Parker's roster.
Burnley have also signed the likes of Loum Tchaouna (Lazio), Jacob Bruun Larsen (Stuttgart), Max Weiss (Karlsruher), and Quilindschy Hartman (Feyenoord). Marcus Edwards, Zian Flemming, Bashir Humphreys and Jaidon Anthony have also made their moves permanent this summer.

Frank faces a lot of uncertainty before his Premier League debut as Spurs manager.
The Danish tactician will miss the services of Maddison, Radu Dragusin and Dejan Kulusevski for this fixture against Burnley. Meanwhile, Destiny Udogie, Manor Solomon, and Takai remain doubts ahead of the fixture.
Kudus is all set to make his league debut for Spurs. Richarlison could lead the line ahead of Dominic Solanke depending on the latter's fitness.
Frank will have to depend on Palhinha's experience and stability in midfield while Cristian Romero will lead the defence as the new Spurs captain.

Burnley will miss Zeke Amdouni after he tore his cruciate ligament in preparation for the 2025/26 season. The Swiss attacker enjoyed a decent 2024/25 campaign on loan at Benfica and while people expected him to replicate that form for Burnley, he got injured and will be on the sidelines for weeks.
Parker inherited a squad that focuses on frustrating their opponents with a tight low block. Burnley got promoted to the English top flight based on their strong defensive showings in the Championship.
However, their back line will be tested in the Premier League and Parker will hope that his players adapt to the pace and intensity of the top flight as early as possible.
Burnley fans will expect Josh Cullen to break Tottenham's rhythm in midfield whereas Anthony and Lyle Foster will look to push forward with pace and creativity. Walker will be a key figure in that back line.
Burnley predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Dubravka (GK) — Walker, Esteve, Ekdal, Hartman — Laurent, Cullen — Edwards, Mejbri, Anthony — Foster
