Liverpool is once again repping adidas, returning to the brand for the third time in history for a ten-year partnership.

The team's new home-and-away jerseys were revealed earlier this month, now repping the German brand after a five-year partnership with Nike, and their debut was a smash hit, outselling last year's jersey launch by 700%, according to Liverpool themselves.

Following a dominant season that saw them win their twentieth league title, the team now enters a new era under the three stripes, one that fans are clearly incredibly eager to see.

Reigning Premier League champions Liverpool have broken records following the unveiling of their jerseys for the 2025-26 season, blowing away last season's sales as they saw orders from over 150 countries.

The club also saw more than 17 million engagements and 423 million impressions across social media on the release, setting the benchmark for this season's Premier League teams.

"We had record kit sales year on year, it was a competitive situation, and varying factors meant that adidas were the party we moved forward with," Liverpool’s chief commercial officer, Ben Latty, told The Athletic.

"They have been great in that, as long as it doesn’t impact their business, we can do what we want. That’s a successful part of the merchandising business we’ve got as we look to keep growing."

The club also said that the top seller from the team was new signing Florian Wirtz, closely followed by the late Diogo Jota.

"All profits from his name and number printing at official club stores, via our official online store and adidas online stores will go to LFC Foundation, the club’s official charity," the team said.

"The Foundation has committed to creating a grassroots football programme in Diogo’s name."

While the jerseys have already been seen in action, their first taste of the Premier League will come on Saturday, August 16 at 5:00 a.m. AEST, when the defending champs take on Bournemouth.
