Bayern Munich have a new talisman, as England international Harry Kane is the shiny toy up front for the German giants.

After completing a switch to the Allianz Arena, securing a €100 million transfer from Tottenham, Kane is now the team's new star, hoping to replace Robert Lewandowski after the experiment with Sadio Mane failed.

Kane spent his entire career with Tottenham, joining the club as a nine-year-old, but now 30 and looking to win trophies, he has chosen to change teams permanently for the first time.

The Sporting News brings you all the info on how many goals Kane has scored for Bayern in his first season outside the Premier League.

Kane bagged his third goal in two games as he bagged a brace in Bayern's 3-1 win over Augsburg on August 27.

He scored from the penalty spot to put Bayern two goals up on the 40 minute mark as he cooly dispatched his first Bundesliga spot-kick, sending the ball straight down the middle.

He grabbed his second of the match after the break as he raced onto Alphonso Davies' cross to poke home from close range.

However, he went goalless for the first time as a Bayern Munich player last time out, playing 90 minutes in a 2-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach. Bayern got the win in comeback fashion thanks to second-half goals from Leroy Sane and Mathys Tel, both assisted by Josh Kimmich.

Now off the mark at his new German club with two goals in three matches, Harry Kane is into the Bundesliga books, ready to hit the ground running.

He'll now chase Robert Lewandowski's single-season Bundesliga scoring record of 41 in a campaign, which is a massively high mark to reach. Even if he falls short of that, Kane can still prove himself a huge success in Germany.
