The 2023 FIFA Club World Cup saw Manchester City be crowned world champions for the first time in their history.

The Premier League club's incredible treble win at the back end of the 2022/23 campaign saw Pep Guardiola finally lift the Champions League trophy in Manchester after years of frustration.

Despite the potential distraction of a mid-season trip to the Middle East, the prospect of another trophy was a key focus for Guardiola, with Brazilian side Fluminense their rivals for the title in Friday's final.

City emerged 4-0 winners from a one-sided contest, becoming the first world champions from England since Chelsea lifted the trophy back in 2021.

The Sporting News has the full details on how to watch the tournament, plus key information on fixture dates, venues and qualified teams.
