After securing a top-5 finish in the Premier League and claiming their second UEFA Champions League appearance in three years, Newcastle United were always set for a busy transfer window, and when the 2025 summer window opened on June 1, thanks to the new FIFA Club World Cup schedule, Newcastle moved quickly.
The Magpies confirmed they will sign 18-year-old Antonio Cordero from Malaga on July 1, subject to Premier League registration. The winger, who has 60 senior games, 7 goals, and 9 assists for Malaga, arrives as a free agent.
Meanwhile, defender Lloyd Kelly has permanently joined Juventus after a short loan spell. He made just 10 Premier League appearances for Newcastle after arriving on a free transfer in June 2024, and then in February 2025, he moved to Juventus on loan with a mandatory £20 million buy clause, and that deal is now complete, according to BBC.
