Bryan Mbeumo reveals 'strong link' with one Man United player image

Manchester United are days away from their Premier League opener against Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, Diego Leon, and Benjamin Sesko have all been signed over the summer, and Ruben Amorim is also hoping to add Carlos Baleba.

Mbeumo and Cunha have already proven themselves in the league, and according to Mbeumo, the two have a "strong link" up front.

What did Mbeumo say about Cunha?

As reported by Manchester United's website, Mbeumo spoke on Cunha and said, "Cunha is a really good player.

"It’s good that we could share some training on the pitch together because it's always important to have good automatisms in the team, and a strong link in front."

The pair featured together in United's preseason matches against Everton and Fiorentina.

Mbeumo continued, "[We've been doing] some striker work, some forward work. I think we still have some freedom up front, but there are some principles to respect."

Mbeumo scored 20 goals and had seven assists in the Premier League last season, while Cunha had 15 goals and six assists in the league.

The two will be hoping to connect with each other throughout the season, while also helping new striker Sesko.
