Chelsea’s determination to sign another striker in the ongoing summer transfer window has been well documented.
Despite adding England U21 international Liam Delap to their ranks from relegated Ipswich Town, the Blues are intent on bringing in one more attacker to increase the competition for starting places in Enzo Maresca's team.
Maresca's current focus is on the FIFA Club World Cup - after securing a spot in the last 16 - but the club are also working to add a fresh name to their transfer shortlist.
Randal Kolo Muani has been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea previously showing interest in signing the Frenchman, after an eye-catching loan stint at Juventus in 2024/25.
While reports state the Blues entered early talks over signing Kolo Muani, the situation has not advanced, with interest emerging from the Bundesliga.
However, as the PSG frontman remains on Chelsea's radar, the 26-year-old was asked about the rumours ahead of Juventus' clash with Manchester City in Orlando.

What Kolo Muani said about joining Chelsea
The striker told TuttoSport he's keen on staying in Turin, if the option is available.

Juventus
"I don’t know anything about Chelsea. I’m focused on the Club World Cup, which is a very fast competition. Once the tournament is over, we’ll see what happens. If it were up to me, I’d stay here. I’m really happy at Juve, I feel very good."
Kolo Muani’s words come as a setback for Chelsea in their quest to bring him to London next month, and Maresca may now turn his attention elsewhere, amid doubts over Nicolas Jackson's long-term place at the club.
