Hayter heads into MODUS Super Series Women's Week III Finale image

Gemma Hayter secured her place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning four of her  five matches to end her Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Hayter, who entered Wednesday’s play on 12 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall after winning four of her five matches, as she recorded victories against Kirsty Hutchinson, Paige Pauling, Trina Gulliver and Kirsi Viinikainen, with her only defeat coming against Lisa Ashton, to end on 20 points from a possible 30 overall. 

Elsewhere, Kirsi Viinikainen and Lisa Ashton will both compete in Group B, after the pair 

finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Viinikainen ending on 20 points and narrowly missing out on an automatic spot due to leg difference, whilst Ashton ended on 18 points. 

The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Rhian O’Sullivan, Lorraine Winstanley and Laura Turner. 

Trina Gulliver, Kirsty Hutchinson and Paige Pauling will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4 th, 5th and 6th respectively overall, with Gulliver and Hutchinson ending on 14 points each and  Pauling on 4 points.

The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Katie Sheldon, Vicky Pruim and Robyn Byrne. 

The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST.
