Brisbane Heat claim back-to-back WBBL titles following unbeaten knock from Beth Mooney against Adelaide Strikers

The Brisbane Heat have won their second consecutive WBBL title following a six-wicket win over the Adelaide Strikers on Sunday.

Chasing 162 for the win, the Heat were led by star opener Beth Mooney (56*) who remained unbeaten as they passed Adelaide's total with 11 balls to spare.

The Heat won last season's final against the Sydney Sixers, and have now equalled Elyse Perry's side with their second.

It was a massive improvement for the Strikers, who finished 6th last season and had only ever made the finals once the competition's history.
